Niklas Kronwall was on the ice for all three of Detroit’s goals and continues to have a great postseason. Kronwall’s monster check on Pittsburgh’s Ryan Malone resulted in a broken nose. Malone was able to play and racked up eight penalty minutes. Pittsburgh was able to come alive a bit in the third period racking up 48 penalty minutes and getting more shots off.
